AC908 - access terminal on payment cards AC908 - access terminal on payment cards designed to work in conjunction with proximity cards (13.56 MHz) and complies with ISO14443A. The basic idea of using this device is that the consumer pays all his expenses using not cash, but contactless cards.
The principle of operation of the terminal for the option of access by payment cards:
Administrator, in advance on the encoder (programmer), enter a certain value in the memory of the RFID card, which corresponds to the amount of money that the customer made to the cashier.
In return for the amount paid, the client receives from the Administrator a manufactured RFID card, which he will apply to the terminal, for payment transactions.
Upon completion of the payment operation process, the relay built into the terminal is triggered, which in turn controls the actuator (opening the door, turning on the gaming machine session, turning on the tanning unit, opening the turnstile passage, etc.)
Each time the client applies his RFID card to the terminal, there is a process of reading the previously programmed value of the virtual amount by the Administrator and the further process of subtracting the set value from the initial amount.
At the end, the terminal writes a new value to the RFID card, taking into account the previous deduction.
The principle of operation of the terminal for the option of operating as an object access system: the
Administrator, preprograms the necessary number of RFID cards on the encoder (programmer) and issues them to its customers (employees).
The customer applies this RFID card to the AC908 terminal. The terminal reads its value (data), comparing them with its data and when these values coincide, the built-in relay is triggered, which in turn controls the actuator (opening the door, opening the turnstile, etc.).
The terminal stores in its non-volatile memory the read number of the attached RFID card, simultaneously recording the time and date of this event.
The administrator can always copy all the saved records of all events from the terminal memory to his PC using the utility supplied.
Thus, this mode of operation is similar to the simplest access control and time tracking system, which can be used for small firms and organizations.
